Jennifer Scheiderich, P.A.
Jennifer Scheiderich is a physician assistant at the Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics in Dallas, Texas. Jennifer completed a bachelor’s degree in health science and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1998.
Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Jennifer holds membership in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
In addition to Jennifer’s 13 years of experience in medical dermatology, she specializes in injectable fillers, neurotoxins, and sclerotherapy. Working at a private practice that houses one of the most extensive laser facilities available in the Metroplex, she is one of the only physician assistants in Dallas that performs fractional laser resurfacing, radiofrequency tightening, and tattoo removal.
Melissa Barrer, P.A.
Melissa Barrer is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in pediatric, medical and cosmetic dermatology. After discovering her passion for dermatology, she completed her master’s degree from one of the top physician assistant programs in the country at Emory University School of Medicine.
Melissa spent several years in New York City practicing dermatology in both private practice and at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. There, she acquired specialized training in pediatric dermatology and patch testing for skin allergies, and was actively involved in clinical research.
Melissa is excited to see patients of all ages to address a variety of skin concerns, including skin cancer screenings, acne, eczema and psoriasis. In addition to practicing medical dermatology, she has a keen interest in helping patients achieve their cosmetic skin care goals.
Melissa earned her bachelor’s degree at Emory University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Melissa lives in Dallas with her husband and is excited to now call Texas her home. She enjoys spending time with family, eating barbecue, snowboarding and traveling.
