Among the most exciting changes in the cosmetic enhancement world in recent years has been the rise of minimally invasive procedures, which now rival surgical anti-aging treatments such as facelift and brow lift surgeries in popularity. This growth is fueled by the treatments’ effectiveness, a factor which only compounds as individual services are combined. Our board-certified dermatologists can pair non-surgical skin treatments with injections of dermal fillers and BOTOX® Cosmetic to give our Dallas patients results that are remarkably similar to surgery. Dr. Lori Stetler and Dr. Kristel Polder use their vast skills and experience to provide a “liquid facelift” that requires a fraction of the downtime of surgery.

To learn more about the possibilities for combining services into a liquid facelift, request a consultation online or call (214) 631-7546 to speak with a member of our team. Online visitors who schedule a consultation for cosmetic procedures will also receive a customized “Total Skin Rejuvenation” plan to help make flawless skin a reality. We serve men and women from Frisco, Plano, and other Dallas communities.

What Is a Liquid Facelift?

Also called a nonsurgical facelift, a liquid facelift is a highly customizable approach to treating some of the cosmetic signs of aging on the face. Although Dr. Stetler and Dr. Polder provide only those services that have been proven safe and effective, their expertise is required to combine individual components in a way that produces the best results. During a consultation, they recommend a treatment plan to address each patient’s unique goals and physical characteristics. These are the options patients commonly combine for a liquid facelift:

BOTOX Cosmetic and Dysport®

At the Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics, BOTOX is one of the most-requested services because people are familiar with its effectiveness at erasing fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, between the brows, and on the forehead. Dysport is a very similar injectable product that produces the same effect, and both are ideal components of a comprehensive liquid facelift.

Dermal Fillers

Dr. Stetler and Dr. Polder commonly recommend injectable gel fillers such as RADIESSE®, JUVÉDERM®, and Restylane® for our Dallas patients who want to smooth and fill in facial wrinkles and indentations, especially in the area around the mouth and chin. Laugh lines, marionette lines, early signs of jowls, and thin lips are just a few of the concerns our doctors treat with these products. JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™, which can last up to 18 months, softens nasolabial folds and smile lines and is the most recent addition to the line of fillers. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC is another great addition to a liquid facelift because it adds youthful volume to cheeks that have become flattened or sunken with age. JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC achieves similar results for the lips and the lines around the mouth, and another injectable dermal filler, Sculptra® Aesthetic, creates gradual, long-lasting results for the cheeks, temples, and chin after a series of treatments.

Other Cosmetic Treatments

Another injectable that might improve the results of your liquid facelift is KYBELLA®. This product reduces the appearance of a double chin by dissolving submental fat through a series of injections.

Although “liquid” injectable treatments are sufficient enhancement for some patients, others may benefit from pairing these services with another skincare treatment such as Thermage®. At the Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics, our doctors are exceptionally trained in this popular procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to tighten facial skin without any downtime. They can also recommend other services, such as chemical peels or laser treatments that might help improve uneven skin tone or texture or other common signs of age.

What Does a Liquid Facelift Treat?

Because our doctors tailor each liquid facelift to a person’s precise cosmetic goals, the procedure can treat a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Smile lines
  • Marionette lines
  • Vertical lip lines
  • Chin wrinkles
  • Pre-jowls
  • Crow’s feet
  • Brow and forehead wrinkles
  • Diminished volume in the cheeks

Our doctors can also target skin discoloration, age spots or sun spots, and unevenness, among other concerns, with a custom treatment plan that helps each patient look more youthful and refreshed.
