CoolSculpting at our Dallas dermatology center has become one of the most popular treatments among both our male and female patients. It requires no surgery, no needles, and no downtime. What isn’t there to love? If you want to get rid of stubborn bulges before swimsuit season, now is the time to start exploring your CoolSculpting options.

CoolSculpting is designed to target and eliminate fat cells using precise cooling technology to help you achieve noticeable, natural-looking reduction in your fat bulges. Different applicators are available to address a number of common “trouble areas” on the body. Our main applicator can effectively treat love handles, muffin tops, bra fat, inner thighs, and the upper arm area. We have also recently added two additional applicators for other parts of the body. The CoolSmooth™ applicator is meant for dense, un-pinchable areas of fat like the outer thighs, and the CoolMini™ applicator can treat small areas like the double chin, armpit puffs, and knees.

Additionally, we offer DualSculpting™, which allows us to treat 2 areas at once, so your treatment time will be cut in half. This means that we can treat both sides of the body at the same time, which gets you in and out quicker, so you can resume your normal daily activities sooner.

Though treatments can produce noticeable results, they are not immediate. Because of this, scheduling an appointment in early spring will ensure that your results will be fully apparent by summertime.

Typically, patients begin to notice changes in as little as 3 weeks after treatment. The results are gradual, so the most dramatic difference will be seen after about 2 months. However, patients often see continued improvement for up to 6 months.

Many patients are happy after just one CoolSculpting session, but we recommend several treatments for best results, which is another reason you should begin treatment in early spring. The number of treatments will vary per patient depending on a several factors, and each treatment must be spaced about a month apart. During consultation, we will be able to discuss your concerns and prepare a treatment plan that fits your goals, time, and budget.

Unfortunately, CoolSculpting is not a replacement for healthy diet and regular exercise, so in addition to treatments, it is also a good idea to sustain a healthy lifestyle. This will amplify and prolong your results, so you will not only be ready for summer, but also maintain your new physique for years to come.
